Join one of my group fitness classes in Oak Island and Southport! These classes do NOT require a gym membership or contract; see class descriptions and rates below.
At Cape Fear Fitness in Southport: Mondays at 8AM.
Cost is $6 for gym members; $8 for non-members.
Burn fat, improve your cardiovascular fitness, and increase muscle strength in this total body workout. This 45-minute class is challenging, but I provide modifications so that a wide range of fitness levels can participate. Be sure to bring water!
Silver Sneakers Circuit Class:
At the Oak Island Recreation Center: Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30AM.
Just $3 for Oak Island residents; $4 for non-residents.
This class is geared towards active seniors but every age is welcome!
We combine low-impact aerobics with light strength training, and we always have fun. We only use our chairs for a bit of balance help if needed, and at the end of class for stretching instead of getting down on the floor. Silver Sneakers Circuit class will help you improve coordination, balance, muscle tone, and cardiovascular fitness. All equipment is provided, but please bring water!
